Pros

Didnt find any pros. I would suggest dont run after the brand. AUnderstand the work culture pre joining.

Cons

They have opened india development center in bangalore. But all work is driven by US walmart. Manager asks to come in day time and then you need to be awake at night as well to get your approved. People in us don't even respond. I am having lot of health issues due to late night works. Its a humble request to ask about work and timings during selection. Its been two months now and i got two times severe health issues. Dont know what to. Any suggestions are welcome .

Pros

It's the Fortune 1 company. There are a lot of opportunities and resources to take advantage of, if you're lucky.

Cons

It's too big. It's also too focused on growing and competing against Amazon, instead of guiding/nurturing the large number of young employees that are being brought in to maintain the eCommerce business. The Category Specialist role is touted as an opportunity to own a small business within Walmart, but that's a stretch. There are very few perks compared to other tech companies. And there's a huge lack of mental health consciousness among management & HR. The leave of absence process is bothersome.
