Pros

It is not a hard place to work for and it has a very diversified work force, so there is always something to learn.

Cons

With the diversity sometimes comes drama. A lot of people that work there have nothing but that place to think about. They are there when they are off spending their paycheck and live in the place. Not enough pay to have extra, but just enough to get by; That's the best way I know to describe it.

Pros

Good pay, Good benefits.  Wal-Mart has a strong foundation that it was built on.

Cons

If you are salaried you do not have the same say as an hourly associate when you do not understand or agree with a program.  Higher levels of management threaten lower levels of management with disiplinary action and termination in order to get programs in place.  Evaluation process of salaried associates is not based on individual performance.
