Pros

Flexible time for family and personal needs. Good place to learn skills to develop a career that you can take with you later.

Cons

Don't like to work weekends. Same things as any other job really. Sometimes dealing with others just isn't what I enjoy doing.

Pros

It's a good place to work when you are 16, 17 or 18. They pay above minimum wage and most managers are pretty flexible with part time workers. There are always people willing to pick up shifts if you need time off to study, etc.

Cons

Unless you plan on training for a management position, you should leave as soon as you graduate high school. You are better off doing internships in your field during university than wasting 4 years at Wal-Mart as a part time job.

Pros

Wal Mart is a good place to work if your just starting a career. They will train you for the job you will be doing. Wal Mart is always hiring at some of thier stores.

Cons

The benefits such as health care coverage is not that good. To start out a lot of the jobs are evening or night shifts.
