Pros

The only good thing I can think of is the discount you get for Waitrose and John Lewis.

Cons

The management are a bunch of bullies and I've never seen a company with such lack of care for their staff. I was sworn at, interrogated, lied to and they treat me like absolute dirt. I put in a lot of hours considering I was only part time and any overtime I did I was never paid for. The management don't give a damn about paying you either, I was underpaid for the full 6 months I worked there and even though every week I told them I'd just get a 'I'll pass it on to so and so' and nothing would ever get done. They also back-stab you and give you no chance to finish your work. I used to come in to work and they'd call me down to the warehouse and say "5 cages, 1 hour...GO!" baring in mind these cages were taller than me and the items were spread out all over the store. The most I could get out in 1 hour was 3 huge cages and then they'd shout at you right in your personal space. I've never felt so low in all my life. Running around for them like a sport on minimum wage whilst they did nothing and then work pull you in a corner and scream at you. Please, I advice anyone who wants to keep their sanity to NEVER work for Waitrose in Peterborough. Me leaving was the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Pros

Partner Discount Friendly Employees Smart uniform. Life long friends Good interview Job roles are straightforward Many cons though as the company care more for those higher up.

Cons

Managers have their favourites and they will allow those they favour to have time off & choose hours they want to do. Difficult to apply for overtime I was with the company for 9 months and they never gave me a permanent contract, they didn't give anybody a permanent contract so that they could change our hours every 3 months. This was highly unfair and they gave the hours to those they favoured most. Incredibly understaffed yet always letting customers go ? You might as well close the store down if money if that tight. Little chances for those on part time contracts to progress within the partnership and the managers do not take this into consideration.

Pros

Relationships i made with people there A few good managers Good benifits Good experence gained from them

Cons

As the title says this place will mess with your head, its turned men into little boys seeking approval constantly. They have elite cliques which are groomed by the managment to do there bidding, with them constantly brown nosing and getting better promotions than anyone else. They make it clear who there favourates are and rub it in everyones face who notices. People feel constantly depressed inside that warehouse, constantly saying how they have to get out of there and find a better job, and how much they hate it! There has even been a rebel inside the warehouse who set up a twitter page called 775insider and on that page you can see what dirty scummy crap that happens behind the scenes there and its utterly shocking. Its been such a corrupt experence, and its going to take months to block the last 3 years out my head. I could write pages and pages of words to explain this place, but nobody would understand apart from those who are inside it.
