Pros

Freedom of speech here is painting the real picture, Reading the comments to the management spanning over a year clearly shows this is a now growth company.

Cons

Open communication is not allowed, report i. And leave with in the monitoring time, stay at your work station, so to be accounted, listen to the BS with no comments and you will be graced with a JOB. This is a no career place.

Pros

Pay is competitive if you are in the right cliques!

Cons

Terrible leadership Toxic in the way they treat their employees that are not part of the "Corner Office Club" Under bid large projects drastically to win the business, then when the team cannot deliver because they are way understaffed, they take it out on that staff.

Pros

Good project team members to work with.

Cons

The organization pulls bait and switches to get people on-boarded. They will tell prospects what they want to hear to get them in the door but not follow through (once an employees in the door the pressures off). As many others have indicated management acts like they want input but for the most part it gets filed in the waste basket - really just a ploy to make employees *feel* like they are being listened to in order to attempt to curve turnover. Project teams typically don't run lean as there isn't trust by management for teams to deliver which leads to micro-management and a lot of noise on projects.

Thank you for your candid feedback. Valorem has made massive efforts over the past year to ensure more timely and actionable feedback is given to and taken from our employees. Recently, we have partnered with an employee engagement survey company that has driven multiple company wide initiatives surrounding topics that were identified by employees as pain points within the organization. Some examples of this feedback in action have been our improved US Benefits, Wellness plans, and an enhanced performance review process. All of these were identified as areas of improvement by our staff over the past year and we have pushed to implement solutions. This is a continued effort from all leaders at Valorem and we will continue to listen and drive change as desired by our employees. We also are continually trying to hone the expectations set throughout the recruitment process to make sure they line up with the expectations that leaders have once someone starts. We want to make sure we are giving the support and direction necessary to ensure success out of the people we bring in. Micro-management is never the desired outcome, but more of a collaborative environment with mentorship and guidance.
