      Challenging, cutting edge Technology, but limited career advancement

      Opportunity to learn cutting edger Unified Communications technology. Work with highly skilled, highly motivated Technical professionals. Managers do their best to allow development of technical skills, training and flexibility.

      No opportunity for advancement. Stagnant salaries and no raises in the past five years

      Pros

      Very good people to work with, interesting technologies, good customer base, there used to be good benefits with the promise of them returning but they haven't yet.

      Cons

      Directions change without thinking through the impacts, initiatives are started and then abandoned, upper management not in touch, no salary increases for years.

      Good caring people, good environment, global organization

      Cons

      Siemens is neither feared by their competitors nor loved by their customers. In a word, the management team at all levels is “awful”. Jumping from one failed project to another, management lacks integrity and accountability. This organization has been shrinking for better than 10 years. Moving from one customer crisis to another, the customer support organization manages to the exceptions not the rule. The work force is aging and morale is rock bottom.
