      In the long run, there will always be some kind of project going on.

      Cons

      Terrible management. An editorial department that seems to be overloaded and thus behave erratically. Disrespect for local studio culture.

      Pros

      Ubisfot Toronto has very talented people, an understanding management is a young studio and it feels in the vibe. Inventive and collaboration is important part of the culture.

      Cons

      As part of a way bigger multinational corporation, there are decisions that can impact the project you're involved and that don't depend in your personal or team's performance, but it comes with the territory.

      A great place to work, but not without its problems

      Pros

      The work/life balance is fantastic. Any long hours were there for a reason that made sense and didn't break employees. Lots of understanding about personal time (doctor appointments, kids needing to be picked up at school, etc.), so long as it didn't impact your work. Lots of great relationships formed with co-workers. Super fun events based on company IP to keep things interesting for employees.

      Cons

      The same slow-moving processes you get at any big, international company that's been around for decades. Things don't move quickly - and in the current state of the industry, if you snooze, you lose.
