Pros

Great job for going to school. Off a little bit after 8 am which leaves the whole day open for your activities. Good paying job for part work and beniefts are outstanding.

Cons

Getting up early in the morning can be hard sometimes. Have to be to work around 4:30 in summers and 2:30 in winters.

Pros

UPS is a big company with a lot of resources. There are plenty of procedures to make sure everything is done correctly. UPS is not a perfect company, but it really try to do the right thing.

Cons

Because UPS is a big company, there are a lot of red tape and paperwork to get things done. if you don't like following orders or procedure and paperwork, UPS may not be for you.

Pros

Offers very flexible schedules. Many co-workers were college students who were easily able to switch from one shift to another in just a matter of weeks, if necessary (such as from day to evening shift).

Cons

Many employees lacked any sort of motivation. Die-hard union folks knew the rules better than you ever could, and it was a constant struggle to get them to do meaningful work.
