No structure and leadership are very controlling. There ways or highway. Now becoming vendor management IT development team as they are using cheap offshore resource through a consulting company and eliminating onshore resources with experience

Great opportunities for aggressive employees, benefits of UPS HQ but none of the stagnant culture, good compensation, visibility to all levels

Cons

The culture is not great for progressive thinkers. Terrible execution on most projects and marketing initiatives, short staff, confusion surrounding project details, very segmented with a lack of big picture thinking amongst workers due to lack of visibility and exposure to other departments. WAY TOO MANY MANUEL PROCESSES.

Pros

It has a very laid back environment and great people to work with. However, we expect you to work and get your stuff done. There is a strong focus on work/life balance. If you need time off for something, they are very accomodating. There is a lot of diversity and a strong focus as well on inclusiveness. There is also a lot of opportunity to move and advance, at UPSC and UPS corporate. Just know what you want to do and go for it.

Cons

It has been very slow to get much needed improvements made. Talent development and consistent performance management is finally getting up to speed.
