Pros

Great compensation, in line with local industry. It's a huge business, and feels very professional from the top down. Safety is taken seriously. Great coworkers of all types. Union.

Cons

Work/home balance leans heavily to the work side. It is expected, and anyone who knows this line of work knows that most of your time will be spent at work. Excessive overtime can hurt morale, but most accept that the pay makes time at your second home bearable.

Not the best place to live, company politics too much, no clear rotation scheme which can frustrate employees, salary progression outside graduate scheme is non-existent

It's a good paycheck and stable job secure money and will work you a bunch of overtime because all the good people that know what they're doing leave

Cons

People are singled out rules are not enforced management is not very good too many games in the HR department doesn't know their head from their shoes
