Pros

Benefits, Culture, Pay, Bonus, Flexiablity & the People. Amenities... my favorite Caribou in the twin cities, clinic and convienence store available.

Cons

Unfortunatly became one of the casualties of the sale of F&R and the recommendation of the consulting company Mckenzie to flatten the managment throughtout the organization. Layed off after 22 years of working there even though I exceeded the last 5 years on end of year reviews. Never feel as though it cant happen to you!

Pros

Large campus with amenities. Generous vacation policy. Large company with plenty of projects to work on. Culture and values are a priority.

Cons

Thomson Reuters has been slowly declining for many years. Salaries do not keep up with the market. Every fall there are large rounds of layoffs and outsourcing. Everything is about "cutting costs". Morale and quality are low.

Pros

- Got to work on cool technologies. - Work is well planned and structured. - Decent cafeteria, convenience shop and coffee house. - Generous vacation policy.

Cons

- No opportunity for growth. - They prefer either kids who don't know what to ask or H1-B workers with no leverage. - Heavy middle management with overlapping roles that kisses up and kicks down. - Managers and directors are mostly white with racist tendencies, who treat Asian workers as indentured servants. - Create conflicts among engineers leading to lower morale and productivity. - Waste budget on projects that has no takers in the market.
