Pros

- The role gives you a VERY general knowledge of the investment industry. - The team is young as the company only hires graduates. - Working with global investors.

Cons

- Incompetent management, which means that you don't get trained properly. - Long working hours which is indirectly encouraged by the management. - Unhealthy competition between the people in research. - You get promoted only if you are not a threat to senior management. - They don't offer permanent employment. - They don't hire top graduates. - The experience is not very helpful then you are applying for other roles in sales, research, IB or consulting.

Pros

Third Bridge hires a lot of fresh graduates, the salary is okay but in the first year, it's very difficult to get bonus. And after 1 year they would give a promotion but in the sametime raise your target again so that it's difficult to get bonus.

Cons

Third Bridge is running like a sweat shop, associates are being forced to work around clock and overtime in order to hit unrealistic targets. The company posts daily performances on public so that everyone can see if you are running behind target. The managers bullys its team to work excessive workload, after 6pm or even on weekends in order to hit monthly target.

Pros

Good people that join as young graduates all very alike. Although it does feel like an immature extension of university where loads of your intake are getting it on with each other (highly unprofessional work place).

Cons

Where do I begin. You will be cold calling 99% of the time as an analyst when you join. It requires no skills whatsoever if actually reduces your IQ. Targets are ridiculous and are not based on talent. I left after a few months, raised my concerns with HR (of course, I still have a few friends that work there and they weren’t acted upon). Most mind numbing job ever, yet they require people from good universities when actually all you will be doing is spending your whole day scrolling on LinkedIn begging people to have a phone call with you after illegally downloading there data using lusha without their consent so you can harass them on the phone (no such thing as GDPR compliance at TB).
