Pros

Tableau makes and sells a great product. It was founded and continues to be run by great leaders who are aware of the market and are placing the company in a great place to continue to dominate their niche. They are invested in making sure employees are taken care of, and offer great benefits, and an exceptional work/life balance.

Cons

It's tough to say it, because the benefits and other perks of working at Tableau almost make it a non-issue, but they do pay below market, which makes living in a city like Seattle, Austin, or Washington D.C. pretty difficult.

Pros

Flexible work, amazing offices, people caring about customers, every employee is happy to help their workmates, good culture, I work as a contractor and the make me feel as a part of the company.

Cons

Don't know if it is a con: organizational/projects changes seem to be something usual, Tableau ALWAYS cares about employee and nobody is fired because of this, they look for new positions in new projects, from my perspective is a REALLY GOOD thing, but I found people not sharing this thinking.

Great culture, very good work life balance. Amazing product to sell and great to see a lot of customers get excited. Not much politics and Lots of people like to help each other's.

Cons

Building internal career. Hard to see strong leadership in middle managements. Healthcare benefit can be better... But not much things to say.
