The other drivers you work with.

Cons

Long days...sometimes 15 hr days. Then back to work less than 11 hrs later. No family time. Trucks get loaded in disorganized fashion causing extra, unnecessary work for driver.

Lots of internal openings, diversified work environment

Cons

If you are promoted within the company, regardless of the market/pay range is for the new position. HR will keep telling you they can even match the lower end because your current salary is well lower than that. Unless you got someone higher up to help you out but how often does that happen?
