Pros

Subway offers a lot of face to face customer interaction. This is great for building communication skills. There is a lot of team work involved within the store to make sure tasks are accomplished quickly while still maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Cons

Starting off can be difficult as some customers do not appreciate you "learning" the ropes with their sandwiches. As a Manager, the stresses of the job are hardly worth the pay. There is also no health insurance or benefit packages offered. Some customers will also treat you as a second class citizen because you work in food service.
