Pros

Management Flexibility on hours Great first job The skills you learn will help you for the rest of your life.

Cons

To work in this environment you have to be able to work well with people who consistently complain about their job. This is a minimum wage job and it requires a lot of work, but any competent person can do well.

Pros

Some customers are alright. Discounts or free food depending on company/franchise rules.

Cons

On your feet all day, you can get very tired. I have legs like a horse and still get tired from standing on my feet all day. Very busy too. If understaffed, will NOT be fun and will be very frustrating. One person can slow the entire line down. While that doesn't seem bad, wait until rush hour. Some people really want the bang for their buck. If they ask for everything, or extra (insert random veggie here) it can be difficult to fold/wrap sandwiches. Certain customers will complain if the sandwich does not look good because of this.
