Interesting work, excellent culture

Steep Learning curve. Colleagues are some of the brightest minds in the industry, but are also personable, funny, and genuinely caring about team and individuals. Interesting projects with plenty of exposure.

Cons

Same as every firm, work life balance. But have to say that Strategy& is probably the best in the industry in tackling this, and thanks to the Katzenbach center influencing evaluation and solutioning, we have a solid path on improvement

Great Company if you are not support staff

Pros

You get paid for 40 hours and work 45.

Cons

Assistants support 4 or more people without regard on workload presented by direct support. In addition to general duties which is a 40 work week, assistants do invoicing, marketing data entry, perform complex client interview scheduling. Annual review process is brutal. Work free OT b/c you need advance permission for OT and OT is looked at as time management ding. Oh, salaries for support staff is capped so after a few years no cost of living increase (not that 2% for superior performance was cost of living),

Great culture in the Australia region. I made lots of friends there and I always had the support I needed from my peers and management.

Cons

Work-life balance suffers because of the tight deadlines, high standards and occasional overcommitment by management to clients.
