Pros

Interesting projects, challenging work Strong training, apprenticeship model Opportunities to work and learn from lots of smart people, who are also fun to be around, even on intense projects Especially great for vertically alignment (senior leaders in your practice take ownership and enjoy having you on their team).

Cons

Still figuring out the brand; this is a less of con I believe than the past. It seems like future leaders of the firm have committed to it If you don't like your choice of vertical, you need to build enough relationships to switch. (To me this is similar to any other firm if you start working closely with a particular team) Consulting hours / work life balance (this is what you sign up for)
