Pros

Great for people who drink copious amounts of coffee and/or tea. You get 1lb of coffee per week or 1 box of tea in addition to a 30% discount.

Cons

Used to be a perfect job for students, however, with the new scheduling requirements it make it very hard for students to comply with. Policies and standards are constantly being changed (which would be fine) except there is a lack of consistency and communication which causes confusion.

Pros

Getting to know the customers was a good advantage of working as a Barista. The free drinks was also a nice perk, as well as the weekly free pound of coffee.

Cons

Occasionally, you may grow to dislike some of the less-competent Baristas or managers. The core values they held years ago have drifted, and they seem more into streamlining the process rather than feeling like a "third place", as they once advertised.
