Pros

Started as the most junior post in financial wealth management, training is very intensive and we get to deal will all personal banking products and some company accounts products. Recognition for good work done is always satisfying. great colleagues and managers but not all though.

Cons

A great learning place but not for development though, progression other than ranks is very stale, so long they are comfortable of what is currently running they will not change it. So far my worst experience is with the HR that gave me never ending headaches. Minority of the managers sometimes come with two faces, which i do not see a need to do so as they will lose more respect than gain.

Pros

This is an employee caring company and participate quite a number of public events. It has also introduced some great idea and benefit and also favour to the city, like EV leave.

Cons

I don't know why a bank in HK can have no annual for the staff to sit together and enjoy. Eventhough earliers there is survey on whether colleagues want to retain annual dinners or not. And the answer is not, but I think the "NOT" there means the staff do NOT want to spend too much time on the preparation rather than don't want it.

Pros

nice cultural atmosphere, offers good exposure, it depends on the job opportunity itself at the end and the department. you end up getting great experience

Cons

I don't like how things are politicised in the bank although it is against the bank Policy "Respect Diversity" ... it ended up parties (origin, religion, .... etc ) not based on the performance. HR are not powerful as they should be !
