Pros

Friendly and forgiving environment for the most part. Willing to take chances and provide juniors opportunity for career growth. Giving you space to have your own work style.

Cons

Less team work and guidance from senior or supervisor. Often there is transition hiccup. Have to be self motivated and fully independent. Management more interested in effort and relationship building.
