Pros

Great learning and adequate growth opportunities in local businesses. Interaction with senior executives. Lenient leave policy. job security. Its a Bank focused on emerging markets and it rose through the financial crisis.

Cons

Stiff targets. Limited opportunities to move internationally. Terrible policy towards salary adjustments for long serving employees.

Bank undergoing change

Business Outlook

Pros

In past, bank valued employees with good banking skills. This has changed. There is an increasing rush to replace employees with others who have experience in businesses the bank does not have the competency to support.

Cons

Bank is undergoing a lot of change. Power base is centered in Asia and tends to be ignorant of market dynamics in US.
