      Too focussed on EBIT numbers

      Pros

      - good benefits - good work life balance - work from home - annual bonuses

      Cons

      - if another division missed their quarterly numbers, they'll cut US "High Cost" first just to make their EBIT - slowly cutting US workforce over the last 2-3 years - no RnD expansion in the US - they don't encourage continuing education - lack of communication from HQ and executives - Lack of respect for RnD because they don't directly generate revenue - make due with the tools you've got. don't ask for any new technology to help you do your job better

      Pros

      Good work life balance. You can get away without doing work in some teams. In some teams you can do demos get awards and lead a happy life. If you are lucky you can work from home for years.

      Cons

      Career growth may not happen in some teams. As someone mentioned, there is one individual who has high ego. Everyone knows about this person. Stay away from his team. Many resigned from his team left last year and soon many more will leave. A few including a manager have left recently.
