It was fun doing part time work as a student. You get free amazing meals and it's easy being a food service worker.

Pros

Free food during breaks, people are respectful and friendly, and it always smells good.

Cons

It can be a bit dangerous around lot of large-scale kitchen equipment. Managers always want you to worker over time, and it's not ideal for a student who prioritizes studying.

It was a job that paid the bills.

Cons

Extremely unprofessional. From DM to head chef calling people out on the carpet to not having a clue what "team" means. Went from being an Assistant Manager of a satellite café keeping the customers happy to deli prep. Being just a number would be a step up from being treated like something they scraped off your shoe.

Diversity, career growth, many tools to succeed

Cons

Minimal locations in NC, moving too fast in electronic world, downsizing with use of programs without appropriate training, company policies are not universally applied, becoming very impersonnel towards employees, proming unrealistic goals to clients then holding GM and leaving the with minimal support
