Pros

As a woman in technology, this is the first place I feel truly respected and appreciated. I feel this is the first place (aside from government) my gender has not been a hindrance to my career success. We are encouraged and well incentivized to learn new things, get certifications, and utilize our critical thinking skills every day. I’ve been allowed to lead teams with literally zero micromanagement and just do what I do best. I work with some of the smartest and brightest people in the Salesforce ecosystem. Everyone here is a team player and super encouraging, positive, helpful, and just really good people. Not only do I like working with my colleagues, I like their non-professional sides as well - which is equally important.

Cons

As in any consulting company, resourcing is always a challenge! Matching up the right skilled people at the right times for the current projects is a struggle, but you will have that in any consulting company.

Pros

The company used to be a fine place to work. Salary and benefits are reasonable. I worked with some great consultants.

Cons

Since the company was acquired, things have gone downhill quickly. Most of the talented consultants and architects have left. That means they don't have enough skilled people, so untrained resources are tossed onto complex projects. That causes a terrible work environment and angry customers, which is the reason I left. It's unfair to clients and employees, which is causing people to quit, which continues the cycle.

Thank you for your candid feedback – we’ve taken it back to our leadership team and resourcing team to see what adjustments we can make to avoid this situation in the future. Simplus has experienced quite a bit of change in this past year, in part due to COVID and our recent merger and acquisition with Infosys. We are excited about what our new Simplus will look like and have seen some expected turnover in our workforce due to the recent changes. As with any consulting company, resourcing can be challenging, but we are confident in our ability to either build up talent from the inside or find the right talent, including those with expansive CPQ knowledge, to add to our teams for both our current and future clients. Simplus prides itself on being #1 in the Salesforce ecosystem in terms of CPQ projects.
