Pros
Compensation is high, benefits are great. A lot of room to grow within Colas and Sister companies. PM's and Foreman do a good job of trying to get days off for their crew and showing appreciation for hard work.
Cons
Management has no idea what happens on the ground and what it takes to make money at this company. Corporate spends way too much money on themselves and then puts the pressure on manufacturing and construction to pay for their fun. HR dept is lacking, Paige is the only one who seems to be helpful in that entire dept! A LOT of management turnover which seems to create confusion on the direction the company is headed. A lot of work, and not a lot of time or help to do it.
