Pros

Some employees are actually very helpful and amazing to work with Very nice Head of APAC and Global CEO from what I have experienced - two stars only because of them or else would have given it a 1 star

Cons

Only speaking of Sg Office: Local partner is very political although he always says he is not Pretentious local Partner that has a very "know-it-all" attitude and is very closed to feedback Senior and middle management always say that they rely on employee feedback but get defensive and start blaming you every time a simple question is raised Labour turnover rate is relatively high - people often come here for a stint rather than long-term The good feedback on Glassdoor for the Sg office is posted by local Partner's request so employees dare not deviate from boss orders

Pros

Some good opportunities for client work at high profile tech companies.

Cons

If you are a true respectable Consultant who takes your career seriously, I can't tell you enough to stay away from this pathetic company. First off, it's not a consulting firm, it functions much more like a staffing agency - there's no training of any kind, you're just thrown in to "interviews" with clients and then expected to perform regardless of whether it fits your background/experience. Second, they reduced comp bands and PTO. You can't fool anyone by saying PTO "accrues so you get more later" - just be straight up about it, they've combined vacation days and sick days to give you a total of 5 less PTO days in the year. Horrific. Comp bands are also very low. They had the audacity to tell me to my face that I'm being overpaid. Well thanks for being cheap, because now I'm being paid 80% more at a company that actually understands what my time is worth. Third, "Career Advocates" are a total joke. They do everything except advocate for you, which told me there's really no one in the company who actually cares about you or your career. Fourth, while you're on a full-time client project, you're "expected" to contribute to internal projects as well. This was never written in their unclear career expectations guide, probably because if you were to follow, you'd be working over 40 hours a week, time that they are NOT paying you for. No thank you. I can understand if that's something you want to do for promotion, but it should absolutely not be an expectation if you're working your 40 hours, that's just ridiculous. Also, if you want promotion, you need to join this weird thing called "squads chapters and guilds" but you can't, because it doesn't exist yet! So how to get promoted? Who knows!! Maybe just be well-liked at the company because at Sia, kiss-up > merit. I've never been abused worse by an employer nor let go under more illegal terms. This company was the worst job experience I've had so far, completely unstructured, unorganized and just chaotic. I never knew who my actual "manager" was. Leadership at SiaX is incompetent and have no idea what they are doing or what the vision for the org is; there is no transparency, no appreciation for the employees and no real strategy or cohesion among staff and leadership. But they still think they can compete with the Big 4 while their talent is third or fourth tier at best, and are nowhere close in terms of prestige and organization. Please sit down, no one has even heard of you. Truly pathetic company so please don’t waste your time if you're considering this toxic, career-killing place.

Pros

A few good people Most diverse Sia office Support staff are helpful Paris office appears to be doing a lot of interesting work Seminars abroad once a year

Cons

Senior management is not interested in developing employees, no formal training and development, more focus is placed on financials. Run like a recruitment agency, management is happy to take on any kind of project as long as it brings in some income. Highly dependent on contractors, instead of developing permanent staff and placing them on the interesting projects. Bonus & pay rise? non-existent Morale in the office is quite low Very little opportunity to move around the company unless you speak French. Not a great place to start your career but ok if you come in at a senior level.
