Pros

Occasional good customers who made the day a bit better

Cons

Working at Sephora St. Vital under Kayla Kowal was unfortunately the worst job experience of my life. The environment was full of constant drama, gossip, and jealousy — it felt like everything was about personal conflicts instead of teamwork or performance. Professional growth or genuine collaboration were almost impossible in such a toxic atmosphere. I left completely drained and needed a full year of therapy afterward to recover from the stress. No one should have to go through that kind of emotional exhaustion just to earn a paycheck. Sephora might look glamorous from the outside, but behind the scenes, it’s an environment where people tear each other down instead of building each other up.
