Pros

Pay is OK, no one expects you to delivery much but you must be seen to be deferential to any visiting Korean HQ staff when they visit.

Cons

Products and services are woeful, most US staff have a Apple Phone for personal use which should tell you something. Samsung has a reputation richly deserved for being a very hard place to work. You have been warned.

Good place to get 1-2 years experience

Cons

Overloaded, underpaid. You have to fight extremely hard for a pay increment and promotion. Lots of bianess and unsaid rules when it comes to compensation. Promotion comes usually when someone else quits, (afterwhich you're forced to be overloaded anyway), or when there are new role creations (rare) or you just have very special connections within the company. Don't join if you think this is a place you'll want to stay for long.
