Pros
Some remnants of the old "ohana" culture remain, and those are fantastic. The people you'll work with here are generally some of the most competent and driven folks on the planet (however this is changing, as much of the top talent is leaving due to the culture and comp shift). The offices are beautiful.
Cons
The company is going through a panic at the moment, and sadly it seems that this will be extremely dangerous for its long term culture and performance. Ironically, the obsession with "high performance culture" is likely to kill the high performance culture that the company always had. Comp generosity, engagement, and a culture of fearlessness allowed Salesforce to be extremely competent as a company over the years, however this is now being replaced by "you're afraid of being laid off", which is driving performance into the gutter. Freezes on promotions and under-inflation comp reviews means that there is an exodus of talent slowly starting to ramp up, which only compounds this.
