      Pros

      Some good people still here and in spite of weak upper management the company is sustainable. Good technical teams and marketing driven.

      Cons

      Unrealistic goals and need CEO change in my opinion and few Americans in Corporate Management. This is a very top down driven company that doesn’t listen well to the people at the lower levels.

      STM has a firm track record as the longest standing semiconductor company in Italy, and it has been routinely investing in its own fab

      Cons

      ST salary policy rewards its management, not employees. Management fidelity is rewarded more than technical skills. Due to lack of widespread competition, ST can afford keeping its technicians underpaid - skilled workers are an easy prey of aggressive newcomers.
