      Pros

      European company which is in a way a different environment compared to US companies , flexible time-off which allows for your own planning of vacation, good technology - owner of one of the biggest fabs and R&D centers, global mobility - one can choose to work in different sites throughout the world, pretty good package of benefits in US.

      Cons

      Salary not as high as in other companies. Not good attitude towards employee education-there is always something that stands in the way of getting professional courses, this is not a priority for the company. Failure of management to find the right way of motivating people, most often they would decide that they just have to work because they're paid.

      Pros

      The multicultural work environment and the possibilities to explore different areas within the company. Global mobility is promoted. Flexible work hours and environment. The company is very sensitive to environmental issues. Diverse portfolio, extensive IP libraries and many different technologies allows us to address many different markets and customers.

      Cons

      dealing with the main divisions in Europe (9 hour time difference) bad internal communication specifically regarding organization changes.Management style in downturns is very demotivating. Sometimes the decentralized organization causes in effectivity such as parallel development of similar products. Bad time to market causes sometimes a big disadvantage compared to competitors. bloated organization is hindering fast reaction to new market requirements.

      Pros

      It is a great company, with life of leisure. I can learn a lot of technical things inside the company and there are a lot of experienced engineers to help you. Working in ST you can not feel so much pressure.

      Cons

      Salary is not so good. Leadership of the President I think should be optimized. Managers sometimes make a decision which is not good for employee and do not want to listen to the opinion of the employees.
