Huge international presence, many experienced engineers, very good equipment available. ST have their own technology line making them leaders amongst only a few semiconductor companies overall.
Cons
Even though big company, which implies stable employment prospects, they tend to have vast human resource. That is often pointed to when cuts are required to improve financial position.
