Comfortable and relaxing environment. You may choose whichever professional path you like best once you failed in the previous one.

Cons

Typical Italian style in business conduction. Absolute no meritocratic treatment. Performance appraisal based on subjective impressions by people with no actual competence. Salaries fixed and based on the national contract for metalworkers. No truly benefit, only basic salaries.

STM is a good place to work, the work environment in general is very good. If you ever think to settle down with not much expectations, then this is the place for you.

Cons

Some groups within same department are good to work for and some others are indulged into favourism and just operations and nothing for employee's development. If you are looking for good salaries then this is not at all the company for you
