Pros

Company from France/Italy, more work-life balance as compared to other companies in the industry At lower levels, ie entry level, colleagues are more friendly, willing to teach, expects you to learn and perform after a while Good for semi retirement, company has barely any retrenchment for the last 10 years Company earns Hearsay overall company culture still one of the better companies in the industry.

Cons

Promotion = slow. Some almost had to wait 5 or more years for 1 promotion Trickle down economics does not apply, company may earn a lot, benefits the higher management, but scraps to the lower levels Smaller plants have less workplace politics and the big plant have more Very manual work environment, higher management says limited budget to upgrade Managers even HODs/Director levels do not understand that humans make mistakes. They believe everything must be perfect 24/7. They firmly think that there are knowledge gaps for operators who worked there for 10+, 15+ years Numerous conversation with HODs/Director point that they know how to talk, but not how to lead, give directions or solutions. Middle management or entry level engineers have to solve everything themselves Directions from higher management feels like they are regressing instead of moving forward. Very apparent as they implement controls that slow down daily operations and impede general work flow. Not well thought through. After all, higher management are not the ones doing the work No point doing more work (eg project improvements, process stability, smoother process flow) since there will be negligible or no recognition. Company have internal competition to judge project improvements, but its for marketing purposes. More cons not listed here, join to know more
