Your life will be really stable if it's what you want. The employees are all passionate about trains, the ambiance is quite special.

Cons

As a typical French company, SNCF follow the typical routine of promotion. You gonna need a proper diploma to get promoted. And the stable rhythm is not quite suitable for the youth.

Cons

* National company, with a lot of politically sensitive subjects often implying inertia * Salaries are not that good * Operations and opportunities outside of France are very limited
