Pros

The hotel discounts are awesome! $50 rooms at Ritz-Carlton and even cheaper at Marriott. Very wonderful work environment in the spa at the beach resort. Friendly co-workers. High prestige customers.

Cons

Lousy food in the employee cafeteria Management overly critical and low on communication skills Sometimes snobby guests can be rude

Pros

Good hotel discounts, looks good on resume, decent benefits

Cons

Im a server at the beach club. I’m forced to do manual labor not included in my job title. You have to clear and reset the beach every morning which is basically a CrossFit workout for 8 dollars an hour at 8am. I’ve had to clear the beach in lightning and thunder on multiple occasions, management simply didn’t bat an eye at it. Inconsistent seasonal money, feast or famine, lazy management. Employee Promises are not met and the credo is never upheld. Service values are only commutes to when it’s convenient for management, Employees are not appreciated. Managers sit in the office all day at the beach club. Employee food has made me sick multiple times and you have to pay 2.50 for really terrible quality food that’s just leftovers from the kitchen and banquets. First person resolution is just a way for managers to not manage. Don’t drink the kool-aid. This place is a trap.

Pros

They were nice to my face

Cons

When a company like the Ritz Carlton calls you for a second interview and your driving an hour the least they can do is call you and tell you why they didn't hire you
