Pros

+ Riot has really unique culture of hiring and keeping great talented people who are humble, smart, passionate for games and for gamers community. Literally all the people who interviewed me on the position were smarter then myself. That is how I understood I can learn here a lot. + Highest level of autonomy in strategy, execution, decision making. Focus on building the team of great professionals first rather then bringing the immediate results. I see how getting great culturally aligned people together builds the trust and high level of results. + Interesting and inspiring projects to run. Local team has initiated and executed Guilds Program, University Battles, DJ Sona Tour and other initiatives unique both for gaming industry in CIS and for global Riot. + Company is not KPI driven, it takes effectiveness measured in visible impact higher then efficiency measured in KPIs. So KPIs are used as real indicators, not a targets. + Great office, benefits, and perks from the company. International conferences, personal trainings, sea shore team travels, local team events, working from home on demand, etc - pretty cool package.

Cons

- Some perception of relaxed environment in Riot Games may be misleading for new candidates. Riot slogans "we are not a family, we are sports team" and "slow to hire, fast to fire" sometimes are unexpected, so now we try to manage expectations in advance. - While the company is growing some processes are just setting up. For some members it is not comfortable that many decisions are based on good judgement more then on structured procedures.

Pros

Great benefits, good environment. You have freedom to grow and learn new things. The culture is great and positive most of the times, and you can default to trust with most colleagues. There are always new challenges to face and learn from. Most people are gamers and it's accepted to play during office hours as a break.

Cons

Everything looks great for the first few months, but soon afterwards the hidden issues come to the surface. Compensation is lacking, as Dublin is super expensive. Hiring is really slow, many departments are constantly understaffed, making people overworked or having too much on their plate. Additionally there are a few lazy people that do the bare minimum, dragging their teams and others behind. Office politics are very real, despite a claim for meritocracy. There's a general 'we're awesome' mentality, but it's pretty superficial. There's a lot of things that need to improve.

Pros

Great place to work, where everybody cares and is ready to help when you need help, even if it means they need to delay their projects

Cons

The work life balance is not too good, as the work load can sometimes become overwhelming and situations can become very stressful
