The toxic leaders

Business Outlook

Pros

Overall a true multinational with some very good leaders globally

Cons

Beware of the toxic triad of the 3 leaders running the subsidiary in the UAE for the region. They have been getting away with so much unethical and uncompliant actions for years now. The undercutting actions and the unethical decisions they make together. They are not walking the walk and living the Richemont values Playing favourites - those get away with bigger salary increases, and expense perks If you're not a favourite - watch out and watch your back Manipulation and deceit at its best Richemont Group Regions CEO - doesn't live up to what she preaches nor actions. Toxic traits breeding into toxicity in the teams below.

Pros

Decent pension and holiday scheme

Cons

HR hides behind their computers focusing on staff sales and don't follow up on reported health concerns of colleagues. Terse, unhelpful responses if you contact wrong HR person with queries, deeply unpleasant. Dept. heads had to repeatedly ask for HR engagement with staff (Town Hall) during pandemic. Stagnant pay, 2% increase based on excellent appraisals and increased work was dire before Covid pandemic and inflation crisis. Flexible working revoked on grounds that it looks bad if employee leaves 30 minutes earlier, apparently it doesn't look bad if you work 10-12 hours regularly and work late nights. Acas cannot understand this reasoning either. High turnover of IT staff, they complain regularly to colleagues outside IT about workload. To much focus on Swiss head office, other locations treated as an afterthought.
