Life at RB

Pros

As long as you are capable, years of working is not a consideration for moving upward in the corporate level. Fast pace and challenging works make the life full of sparkles.

Cons

RB is a result oriented and not a people driven company. As such, it does not provide job security to the employee. Do not have long term strategic, focus only on the short term benefits.

Cons

- Very lean organization with huge workload and little work/life balance - Sales driven organization which sometimes lead to short term decisions not in sync with strategic vision - Loss of talent due to HR policy of lack of sponsorship to International Visa-holder employees

Pros

*Fast paced environment *Early responsibly *Good pension scheme *Most QC staff try to land a job in R&D, where they are treated better.

Cons

*Poor salary for such a highly skilled role (base salary of £18,500) *QC Department badly run (poor people skills, toxic working environment, poor equipment in lab) *High staff turnover *Poor staff morale *Failure to deal with bullies within the department *Work very tedious and repetitive *Lack of adherence to GMP in order to meet targets *Most methods are badly written, and results will not pass specification unless specific "tricks" are learned
