Pros

High exposure for most roles, deep dive and real understanding of the business at most levels/roles. Global opportunities. Smart, motivated people. Company trying to change high pressure environment. Now offering mat leave top up (16 weeks). Average pay... but in some instances better than average.

Cons

Still a sink or swim mentality. Some roles put in double hours almost all the time. Certain roles do the same but only at key periods. Goals for P&L change quite often. Sometimes too optimistic and does not want to be realistic, as it means presenting softer numbers to higher ups - then lower level people suffer due to unreachable expectations.

Pros

A company with many strong brands known in the market. Get to have different exposure because of re-shuffle portfolio's every 1-2 years. On the job learning while delivering results. Lean company and get lots of cross department exposure. Outspoken employees are highly valued.

Cons

Too performance driven with unrealistic goals which drives people to get the numbers in at any means necessary. Top management team which consist of expats which very frequent transfer every 2-3 years. Lots of office politics. Breakdown in inter-department communication and no clear company direction. Too short term oriented.

Pros

Great opportunity for exposure to many different aspects of product development process. Recently very good pay in comparison with industry competitors. Some very wonderful people to work with in the lower ranks of the organization.

Cons

Very disjointed and reactive in terms of innovation, business execution and product delivery strategies. Real lack of respect and value for individual employees, many surveys to access culture with no serious actions to improve work culture. Lots of turn over due to poor management and very unhealthy work-life balance. Reorganization for the sake of profit has left many disillusioned and mistrustful of upper management.
