Pros

The amazing former and current employees.

Cons

Leadership are stripping the company down (probably to sell soon) at a cost to the quality of the products and the workforce. Employees sacrificed weekends, holidays, family events for "Operation BugKill" and the "QAD Adaptive" release. Told not to take holidays, needed to be available 24/7. The after the blood, sweat and tears so many of these fantastic, knowledgeable, hard-working people were laid off, without so much as an acknowledgement from the CEO (Sanjay).

Thank you for your more than three years of service with our engineering team in Santa Barbara. We are glad to hear that you valued your colleagues and the environment we previously maintained. We sincerely regret the frustration and concern caused by our recent organizational changes and shifts in our global staffing model. Decisions involving layoffs and the outsourcing of departments are incredibly difficult and are driven by a need to adapt our operational structure to a changing global market. We understand that these transitions impact morale and the sense of community that defined QAD for many years. We appreciate the contributions you made during your tenure and wish you the very best in your next role.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. We are truly sorry to hear that your time with us did not meet your expectations and that you had such a negative experience with management. The culture you described is not the one we aim to provide and does not align with our company's values of respect and a supportive work environment. We take allegations of this nature very seriously. We are continuously working to improve our management processes and company culture, and we will be reinforcing our expectations with our leadership teams. We appreciate you noting the value of our hybrid work model, but we understand that this does not outweigh the serious concerns you've raised. We are grateful for the work you did during your time at QAD and we wish you all the best in your future career.
