Pros

Colleagues are nice and supportive. Opportunities to learn.

Cons

Pay raises are small, and it is really hard (impossible) to grow after a certain level. Lack of trained manager to a) keep you motivated, 2) respect your hard work, and 3) give you the right direction to grow. Lack of support for newer impactful ideas.

It sounds like there are a couple of things that could be better, and I'm grateful that you've shared this. Our management also reads these pages, so they can take suggestions and feedback into account for the future. I do hope some of these things turn around, as I can certainly see that motivation and morale is very important. Thanks again for your review.

Pros

401(k) - 150% match of your first 4% PTO - Lots or vacation days, paid holidays, and sick time. Benefits - extremely well priced benefits New open office space in Nashville Great pay/bonus structure

Cons

Being a global company, corporate red tape blocks anything and everything you need to accomplish. Management is not willing to leverage the ideas of employees Many departments have zero work. It may sound nice, but sitting in an office looking at a static computer screen for 8 hours with nothing to do gets very frustrating. Philips is supposedly a “lean” company, however, all processes are anything but lean. It is near impossible to get anything accomplished in a reasonable amount of time. Recently relocating to Nashville, the business still has an extraordinary amount of things that need to be fixed, frustration lies around every corner. Sexual harassment gets a slap on the wrist, on many occasions.
