Pros

Good equipment, excelent customers, engineers a joy to work with and very conscientious. Excellent training school and staff.

Cons

Expected to drive excessive miles and work well above contracted hours, very poor backup with overstreached resources, not enough engineers, far to big an area, no more local prefered sites, total lack of understanding from management, Many engineers near breakdown expected to work 12 hrs + per day with no compensation, after 25 years I have seen the company change for a great place to work to the very worst, its so sad to see your customer base that took years to build up destroyed due to very poor management in a matter of a few years

Pros

Stable company with growth potential.

Cons

Bottom line is always money. Have laid off and downsized a lot in past five years, employees stepped up and are doing the job of two to three people without compensation. Work hard and your only reward is remaining employed.

Pros

Great mission Well meaning people

Cons

- Weak leadership pipeline : too many leaders with little experience with the big picture. Extremely tactical in approach where today's problems always supersede preparing for the future. - A reactive culture : much too often investments are not made to fix a problem at source. So we build bandaids. - Siloed : to be fair they have been trying to break this since the new operating model came into place in late 2023. However the entire company is too systemically ingrained with a very very siloed mindset. Too many employees at all levels just focus on what they know and responsible for. Very few employees demonstrate the curiosity to understand upstream and downstream processes. This creates half baked solutions. Badly designed processes : see comment above. Very slow IT teams : this is not just about IT. But in general everything in the company moves slow. Several times the sense of urgency is just not there. Also fundamental analytical skills are missing in people who are called analysts. Total Comp: while the benefits are decent, the comp the bonuses and the raises cannot keep up with the market. So it does become difficult to attract really competent talent.
