Pros

Best products on the market. The best people in the business. When you tell anyone you work for Pfizer it provides an instant recognition that you are providing goods things for the world.

Cons

Expectations with regard to time spent working. What is a "day off?". Very top down with little praise, recognition or support of it's people. This company is run more like a military organization than a public company. When stock is still lower than it was 10 years ago it is time to ask a different set of people what needs to change.

Business accumen & domain development AND great family values (not work lefe balance - values, meaning you will be worked to the bone, but, should you need to do something with your family that is reactive - they are VERY supportive!)

Cons

Back stabbing leadership team & managers; focus on managing chaos than managing the future - less risk to be a professional problem pointer-outer and BLAME people than to actuallu resolve the problems...

Pfizer: Not A Great Place to Work

Pros

Pfizer has a great benefits program with excellent coverage for all drugs and almost every health issue under the sun. Good internal relocation package, as well.

Cons

Pfizer is a combination of three cultures, all dysfunctional. Also, there is a sense of $$ entitlement among senior management. If you're in NYC, the benefits are plush (car service, helicopters, nights at hotels) but the rest of the company is meant to scrape by and endure layoffs. Seems unfair.
