      place to grow , learn and develop. its high dimenasional aspects gives the best opportunity to grow ( of course if you are interested and looking for high responsibility ) . if you dare to take risk , here, you will jump very soon . pfize is very big and gives millions way to think better an dcreative

      buerucratic place , sophisticated to work and multinational culture. most of the time you are focusing inside the organization to get approval for necessary element rather than competing your challenging environment . most of the time you are as a bare hand soldier than other multinational competitor

      Pros

      A global corporation whith important challenges and the resources to find the solutions and growth. Pfizer supports innovation and creativity and also is trying to be as fast as a mid size company with out loosing its basic management controls. The internal resources are great, there is no reason to not do your job, Training, Knowledge, Support, Collaboartion, all is avaialble at Pfizer. Some Executive Directors are really role models, the vision and the mission of the company is thru and not only a sentence in a piece of paper. You can live the values. The company also beleive in its employees

      the challenges do not have a solution yet (as far as we know) and all the time staff cuts are the solution to keep the numbers for Wall Street It is very difficult to grow inside Pfizer and when you finally do it, HR tries to give you a very small compensation

      Challenging work - you are largely in charge of your own destiny and can find interesting / challenging projects to fill your time with

      Cons

      Layoffs and plant closings make motivation difficult. Advancement is at the whim of management - sure this is always the case - but past a certain level it depends largely on what upper management thinks of you. If you are a contrarian or if you don't really care what management thinks of you, you need to think of another way to get recognized - and even then it probably won't work. "Yes men" rule.
