Pros

6 figure annual income easy for those who are willing to work hard. Qualify for President's Club every year. You get decent recognition if you perform. I have been here over 4 years and have saved up enough money to purchase a home.

Cons

Income is capped out at around $200K even for top performers. Service is getting worse and worse. (Sometimes I feel like I am lying to my clients). Implementation is horrific. I waste a lot of time on implementation and service everyday. Wish I can save those time for sales and making money, being in front of customers. Culture is toxic, at least for my area. Cheating and lying is a norm.

Pros

Good entry level sales position if you are young and single. A stepping stone for the sales industry

Cons

Not so good if you are married. Company promotes infidelity. The show Cheaters could get a full season at a Paychex conference. Personally witnessed RSM's, DSM's, and Sales reps cheating on spouses.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Male dominated company run by "old school" managers who don't know the definition of forward thinking and treat their employees like crap. Their technology is outdated, compensation is low compared to the rest of the industry and the entire organization is so sheltered they refuse to acknowledge their own weaknesses. How can a payroll company not offer their employees the ability to make direct deposit changes online? Faxing in a form? You have got to be kidding me. Annual "Reward trips" are in San Antonio or the same resort in the Bahamas year after year. You don't get to take a spouse, have to share a room with someone, and actually have to attend meetings while you're there. Isn't the point of these trips to celebrate and acknowledge super star performances and reward people? Spend the money to make these lavish and quit trying to save on taxes by making people work while they are there. Take a page out of ADP's book - I work there now and although I have not been to a Club yet myself, I have seen videos, pictures and heard stories and can't wait to experience it for myself.
