Great training, good health insurance options, strives for continual improvement. Provides tools for job success including technology. Tuition reimbursment program.

Cons

Lower than market pay, not a lot of feedback from manager. Can get a bit political and gossipy from time to time.

Pros

Generally stable even through the poor economy, good benefits, training on payroll knowledge can be helpful for future career paths.

Cons

Assigned work load that could easily take 50-60 hours per week but rarely allowed overtime to complete it all. This results in either work left undone or completed in a rushed manner -- poor quality that results in client dissatisfaction, low survey scores that count against your annual review. This in turn lowers morale and less workers are motivated to do a good job. The cycle continues year after year...burn out rate is high. People feel unappreciated and underpaid for all they do. Promotions are often, though not always, based on favoritism or cliques.
