Pros

Free meal, health insurance, free uniform

Cons

Company have high expectations for General Managers. They want strong operation, people development, 100% mystery shopper reports and no violations on food safety and sanitation visits. Also, great financial and guest satisfaction, while working long hours with no work life balance. Good luck on making bonuses after taxes taken out. ACO and management above wants to look good from your hard work while they really don't do anything but visit stores and dictate what you should do better. Lots of politics in this company. If you want to move up, you better start saying yes to everything they say. Everything you see is fake especially when the owner of the company comes to your store for a visit. Once he leaves it will be the total opposite condition. If you want to be stressed out, work long hours, be called in to work if short satffed, drive long distance for long days of meeting, burnt out fast, be fake all the time, no personal life, having to consistently hire staff because of high turn over then this is the job will for you. Don't be fooled into working for Panda. At the end of the day, you will feel like a slave working long hours for minimum wage and not happy at all.

Pros

This company feels like family, I am amazed Andrew Cherng is and has been the only CEO of Panda Express. All the managers care about their employees and the benefits are great.

Cons

You have to earn PTO based on hours worked, there is not a set amount of hours given. It can be stressful when short staffed and it can be very high paced environment. Some managers can expect a lot from you especially with financials.

Pros

Benefit, salary, 401k, saving health care account, pay time off, scholarship for manager continue to higher education

Cons

Work life balance. Bonus is very difficult to achieve. Every manager have to develop one person from their store to management level. The expectation is so high that majority of managers can not meet
