Pros

This is my first job and I love it! You definitely have to be a hard worker if you want to work here though. I work in the front and you have to be able to stay calm and focused when there's a line especially during lunch and dinner rushes. There's always something to do too so time goes by quickly during an 8-hour shift. I've worked here for a short period of time but have learned so much. Panda Express is an amazing company and there's definitely room for growth if you want to move up in the company. The feedback I get from my manager and upper management whenever we had store visits has helped me to become both a better worker and person.

Cons

It can be a lot to handle when there's a long line of people and then having to deal with the customers. I work about 30 hours a week and that might be a lot for others especially if you're a student which was my case but I love my job so the hours are no problem. It's a physically demanding job so you'll find yourself tired when you first start working but once you get the hang of things then you won't feel as tired but still requires a lot of physical work especially if you work in the back or as a cook.

Awful. Do not work for them.

Pros

The pay is good. Benefits are good as well. Free food while working. Monthly and quarterly bonus structure. Earned time off for all employees and bonus for all employees.

Cons

The lack of training, the lack of support, long hours, no work life balance. Being forced to continue education even if you don't have the money, being forced to conform to living by the Asian culture.

Cons

Panda Express is a brain- wash place to work. I"m glad I've got out of there.
